I love being in the VCU Health system having access to My Chart Portal. It makes it easy to communicate with doctor and nurse. Test results are provided quickly. I actually used the Lab Test Report "Trending Results" that provides a graphical chart that indicates improvements or nor so improvements within the blood levels. Which was very helpful.

I'm extremely confident and satisfied with the care received from this provider.

Dr. Mears is very diligent & caring!!

Dr. Mears is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She always knows what is going on with me and the things we talked about in our last visit. She explains each and every test in the blood work panel, so that I can see comparisons to the tests before. She even prints off the copy, so I can follow along. She never makes me feel silly for the questions I have about my health or the medications I'm using. One of the most notable things about Dr. Mears, that I need to comment on, is the fact that as I have gotten older, some of my former doctors will listen to my concerns and say....oh that's just normal aging. She never says that, she listens to my concerns and then offers ideas that will help with the problem. Example is my struggling with getting on and off the ground to garden. She give me some ideas on how to strengthen the thigh muscles. I tell everyone about Dr. Mears and the VCU Health clinic, they are the best!
