Patient experience

Part of providing the highest quality care is ensuring that our patients and their families are treated respectfully, have a positive experience, and have clear communication from our staff. Survey results tell us how we are doing in those areas and where we can get better. We use the same survey as many other children’s hospitals so we can compare ourselves. We follow the “Top Box” scoring methodology in our surveys, which is the percentage of patients/families that chose the best possible answer option for a given question, such as “yes, definitely” or “always.”
