Please arrive in the pre-operative unit. It is located on the fifth floor of the Gateway Building.
You will be instructed as to the time to arrive for the surgery. It will be about two hours before the scheduled procedure time.
During the surgery, you may wait in the surgery waiting room or head to the cafeteria on the first floor of the main hospital which is connected to the Gateway Building. Other dining options include Chick-Fil-A, Wendy's and Einstein Bros Bagels.
We will give you updates as to the progress of your child's surgery. Please make sure that we have your phone number to contact you and please have your phone nearby with its ringtone on.
