Jessica’s story: Surgery is tough, girls are tougher

Jessica Stone has been coming to CHoR since birth.

Her journey has included coordinated specialty care and a series of surgeries over the years for complications related to a spinal lipoma. Through it all, she’s maintained a positive attitude and her family has trusted and depended on their team at CHoR.

From orthopaedic surgery and general pediatrics – to urology and neurosurgery – Jessica’s team extends across the CHoR continuum. As she gets ready to turn 18, she reflects on this medical team that feels more like family and the road she’s traveled to where she is today.
